Introduction
Following an initiative from the chamber of commerce Vienna, I organised four events for small and medium sized enterprises to get updated on new approaches in Software Engineering.
These four events deal with:
- Software Engineering and Software Processes
- Modeling (UML, MDA)
- Best-Practices
- Methods of Quality Assurance
As the program continues, the material from the events will be published here.

The first lecture was given by Dietmar Winkler and Michael Pernkopf (slides mostly in german!). The topics were:
