Introduction

I plan to give season-impressions of Austrian nature in this section. The first installment is autumn and spring.

• [Spring near the danube (meadow)]: After a long and cold winter, finally by end of March spring decided to show up: These pictures were taken near Orth an der Donau. After the melting of snow, most meadows were flooded with water, though. The last pictures are taken some weeks later, with a little less water. However many, many mosquitos...
• [Spring at a wood near Vienna]: Some pictures from May in a wood near Vienna.
• [Late Summer/Autumn near the danube]: These pictures were taken near the danube south of Vienna in late summer/start of autumn.
• [Autumn]: Autumn in the wood near Vienna.
• [Autumn at "Hundsheimer Berg"]: The "Hundsheimer Berg" is a small hill approx. 1 hour away from Vienna and close to the danube. I had the good luck, to get an hour of beautiful sunshine in the morning (between rain before and after...)
• [Winter Holiday in Styria]: I spend regularly a winter holiday near Zirbitzkogel; some winter impressions here.
