Introduction

In June 2000 I was at ED-Media Conference in Montreal. After the conference I had the opportunity to spend two weeks in the eastern part of Canada, visiting among others Gaspe, Breton and Quebec.

• [Montreal]: I spent about a week in Montreal.It is a fascinating, colorful and multicultural city. Enjoy.
• [Gaspe]: The next part of the journey was visiting peninsula Gaspe.
• [Cape Breton]: At Cape Breton I had the chance to see a picturesque coast and had a trip for "whale-watching". Indeed, I was able to see some whales, particularly Minky whales.
• [Quebec]: The last stop before returning to Montreal was visiting the City of Quebec, which seems to be far more "traditional" then Montreal.
• [Going back...]: Finally some impressions on the way back to Montreal.
