Slideshow Iran
Introduction
Although Iran is a huge country with many, many aspects mostly not visible to tourists, these photos might give some impressions to the cities Tehran, Shiraz, Esfahan, the Alborz mountain-region near the Caspian sea and Abyane. I visited Iran about 10 times between 2000 and 2006.

On the way to Abyane you pass by the small village of Hanjan. These pictures show a picturesque cementary with prayer room and the old castle near Hanjan.
