Introduction

In May/June 2006 I spent some holiday days with my wife in Dubai. Dubai is actually not necessarily our most favorite destination; still there are some beautiful spots to visit.

• [The City]: An impression of the mostly modern parts of the City of Dubai.
• [Dubai Creek]: The most scenic places in Dubai can be observed near the creek. Also several bazaars can be found there.
• [Trip to the Desert]: Most impressive was a visit to the desert near Dubai including some "Arabic Camp" in the end. Very touristic but still great impressions.
